Our Bird’s Wildlife & Nature tour to Uganda was an unparalleled success, unveiling to us a country brimming with captivating wildlife and landscapes, igniting an insatiable desire to return. Our journey unfolded, from the vantage point of our safari vehicle, and even amidst tranquil boat rides, offering a multi-faceted exploration of Uganda’s natural wonders. From the sweeping savannas of Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park to the verdant embrace of Bwindi’s humid jungles, each moment was a testament to the splendor of this breathtaking nation. The culinary delights surpassed all expectations, presenting a gastronomic journey that was faultlessly delightful at every turn. Accommodations were a haven of comfort and luxury, with the crown jewel undoubtedly being the magnificent Pakuba Lodge nestled within Murchison Falls National Park, where opulence meets the untamed African savanna. Our wildlife encounters were nothing short of extraordinary, with sightings ranging from the majestic Eastern Mountain Gorilla to the playful Chimpanzee, alongside a captivating array of seven monkey species and a thrilling glimpse of elusive creatures like the Giant Forest Hog and a fleeting Leopard. Yet, it was the avian wonders that truly stole the spotlight, with sightings of over 20 species of Sunbird, 9 enchanting Kingfishers, 9 vibrant Bee-eaters, and the exceedingly rare Grauer’s Broadbill, coupled with the thrill of discovering Rwenzori endemics.
